This is done on Photoshop CS2 and Painter9.
It is a location for an XBOX video game "Solitare"
for Silver Creek Entertainment, they have all rights reserved.

Having said the leagel stuff, for this I tried to get
a moody as well as textured feel, also a mediterranean type atmosphere.

Ooh, very cool! I love the clouds and the moon, especially, and the fire in the tower as well. Pretty amazing! I think you definitely captured a Mediterranean feel, too. :thumbsup:

Awesome work. :thumbsup: The clouds, moon and water are my favorite parts. It comes together very well, and I dig the color choices. Very bright, yet they set the right, mysterious mood. Beautiful. :thumbsup: :)

once again, a truly wonderful and amazing picture. I am struck especially by our sense for values and colours. the blues and oranges work together so nicely, and you also got a nice ambient light there. I personally find it difficult to paint things which are in shadow (such as the backside of this lighthouse), when you have only one major light source.
another thing that I struggle with, and that you did perfectly, is that natural look of the rocks. I really love the structure and texture that they are having, and how well you cast the light and shadow onto them. the sea looks so realistic that I had thought you had used a photo, first :D

well done, love the image and the mood =)
