This is an oil. The horse is a stallion in Egypt named Emad El Din, I just put him in a different age, about a thousand years ago. He is a horse that took my breath away with his presence. He is like a king, and knows it. I hope I did him justice. Thanks to his owners Erminio Granata who showed him to me on several occasions so I could "take him in " before I painted him.
Beautiful painting. I love these sort of scenes. They're very exotic to me,....there's just something about the Arab world I like. And the horse,.... you did a great job on him. His coat shines very nicely. The only thing that seems a bit off is the length of the man's legs. They seem too short in comparison to the size of his head. Other than that, wonderful job. Your work certainly reminds me of the old paintings depicting similar scenes (I WISH I could remember the titles and artists to give you an example). You used that certain style, the colors,.... Great job.
Wow, I thought this was a diginatl painting at first, but it;s not. How can you use oils so well? Must've taken ages to do this. Just look at all the details! OO
Wow is all i can say. That is a beautiful painting. All the detail in the horse is great

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
I'm a lover of visual impacts. I like brilliant colors and shapes. And I decided to collect a whole stack of deviations that reflect that taste. These pieces showcased below deserve every bit of publicity you can give them. x)P
